About a week and a half ago Ken and Kerren took us to the launching point for Cape Kidnappers (my new facebook picture) which is a series of cliffs that is home to the world’s largest mainland colony of gannets, a giant sea bird. On the way home, we stopped by Kerren’s cousin’s place, which overlooks the Tuki Tuki River and the Tuki Tuki Valley. He has been financially successful in life. It was…. nice…

I think this is honestly one of my top five favorite photos of the last 3.5 months.

So in addition to this view they have a sweet as pool and a hot tub in which to enjoy it. Complete with glass railing so as to not obscure the view. Damn. 

How to achieve this? Become an accountant. Is it worth it? ….50/50. I’ll tell you when I’m 65.

Homemade sushi dinner from ages past. Jayden came home long enough to tell everyone that what they do and think is wrong. And to eat sushi. And tell Ken why the sushi is wrong. wrong. wrong. wrong.

We went to the horse races on Saturday—my first day after quitting. $25 got us into a private room with an open bar and free lunch. It was a good, good day.
